Never had problems with this app.

Good to see a native intel version. This is one app that has enabled me to get my images in order and it has never missed a beat. Great for sequential naming and uniquely identifying images. I just gave it a run on the MacMini and all was working perfectly.

Please contact me at hornware@hornware.com so we can figure out why Picture Namer is saying your images are "Corrupt".
Corrupt pictures? - Version: 1.5, 3/14/2005 02:04AM PST

This app looks great, but unfortunately when I try and use any images all I get is a message in the middle of the window saying "Picture can not be displayed. It may be corrupt". These are images shot with a Canon digital EOS camera, and they open fine in Preview and Photoshop. Also I have images shot with other cameras and they give the same result. What gives?
Just the job!

This is great! It does just what I need as far as picture renaming goes. So easy to use and makes a dull job much easier.
The web page it creates is a bit basic. The page it creates works OK but there are lots of tools that do this, maybe Picture Namer should stick to its eponymous function.
In perfectionist mode I'd like a facility to choose if the standard text goes before or after the name but, just as it is, I'm happy to recommend this little application to anyone with a digital camera that outputs boring filenames.

@zeitfraktur => ExifRenamer will be the solution for you . . .
have a look => http://www.qdev.de/?location=mac/exifrenamer
( you can use this as an action for apple's image capture app. :-)
PictureNamer is nice, a little bit slow during renaming procedure,
but will be VERY usefull for all people with pictures without any
exif-data . . . therefor this is a must have utility . . . THANX !!!

I tried several times, but everytime I try to create an album, it crashes after the second or third picture. Sometimes, the copied picture is not the original, but a black image. It is useless.
Very nice!

...and very useful. I like that each picture can be altered (i.e., rotated) individually, rather than as a group too.

Great program! I used the original version, found some "glitches" that were promptly fixed within hours after I had emailed them to the powers that be. I highly recommend this program.
