No more errant windows. Thanks Jeremy S. for a nifty little app.
But you should be spending more time on your school work.

The issue with the preference's window has indeed been fixed.
However, iPer has a mind of its own as to where to position the window on launch. It would be nice if it would return to the position set by the user.
It's as fast as ever at reporting my LAN & WAN IPs.
My thanks to the developer.

Great app!
It would be nice if it could do a 'reverse lookup' to show a hostname from an IP
address.

"What's new in this version:
Many new features, including: Brand new preferences window..."
Which may have interesting contents but it's inaccessible for me and after selecting to view it I have to force quit iPer.
But it certainly reports my LAN and WAN IP's in a flash. That aspect is very handy.

Great app -- handy, compact, and very very fast. Even more impressive is the developer's website -- especially when he excuses his spelling errors -- because he's 14 years old!!!
This guy has a rich future ahead of him. Unlike other dorks who seek to bring down systems and structures -- here is a budding Mac developer contributing GREAT shareware. Bravo.

There's dozens of ways to get your own IP address but this is the easiest way of getting the IP address of other websites that I have seen.
Works great too.

I know about ifconfig ,but this is great when you are on a home wireless network and want to know if you external ip has changed. or if you are remotely fixing a friends computer and dont feel like having them read you all of that info from the ifconfig screen.
Also look at Ipanema - Version: 1.4.1, 3/21/2004 05:18AM PST

I like the free Ipanema better because in addition to finding your IP, even if behind a firewall, it e-mails any IP changes to any address you wish.
