Product Description:

iCal has the great ability to e-mail notifications for events (great for sending reminders to your cellphone!). The only problem is that it forces you to use Apple's Mail application. This installer will update iCal so that it will use Mailsmith instead of Mail for e-mailing notifications.

What's new in this version:

Fixes problems with some notifications and attachments.

Seems to do exactly what it says. I use Mailsmith, and did not at all like when iCal would try to use Mail for sending reminders. The fact that reminders will be sent even when iCal is not running is even better. Only annoyance is it seems you have to re-install this app after updating iCal, but I probably can't blame this app for that.
