I bought and tried Smart Scroll and it doesn't work with the Targus Mouse.
I like the mouse, but no driver works correctly yet.
The Apple Mighty Mouse has 360 degree scrolling as doesn't the track pad, but nothing works with the Targus yet.
It can scroll up and down OR left and right, but not both. There is no diagonal scroll.
I hate the scroll ball on the Mighty Mouse and the way the right and left clicks work.
The Targus Mouse is a much better design if someone could just get the drivers working.

I have just installed Smart Scroll 3.2b1 SL and it seems to be causing a problem with my version of Google Earth version 5.0.11733.9347. Google Earth refuses to start.
I am using Snow Leopard 10.6 on a 24" 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac. Can anyone verify that they do work together?

I'm a long-time user and fan of Smart Scroll and, after moving to Snow Leopard, contacted the developer when I did not see a new version. He responded right way saying that we should see a working update within the week. I'm optimistic. This software speeds up my work in many applications, and I've found no substitute.

I love you Smart Scroller. It's sad that you rely on APE for your functionality because Unsanity continually has it's head up it's #$$! and is hardly even finished updating for Mac OS 10.5 much less 10.6. Apparently Unsanity is in a part of the world that cannot aqcuire developer previews of Mac OS versions. Thanks for your stellar user experience up until now!

Unfortunately, this great little--that is dependent on APE--will not run under Snow Leopard. Unsanity will forever take their time to even get something near to running on Snow Leopard so you can kiss Smart Scroll goodbye. it was geat while it lasted, as I loved Smart Scroll. R.I.P.
perhaps the description should be modified
