Product Description:

Reference Miner searches PubMed, the Library of Congress, and Amazon (US, UK, Germany, Japan, France, and Canada) to find and display reference information. Special features include a built-in browser, drag and drop downloading of pdfs and web pages from PubMed and Amazon, the display of book cover art (Amazon), and the ability to easily perform complex searches.

What's new in this version:

Search Google Scholar. Perform advanced searches that let you specify criteria such as word or phrase, words in the title, dates published, and more. Once they are found, use the built-in browser to surf to reference sources on the Internet (access privileges required) and download them with drag and drop.

Just tried it out for the first time for PubMed, searching on "bariatric surgery and diabetes", a very current topic as evidenced on the front page of today's Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/05/03/AR2008050301837.html?hpid%3Dtopnews&sub=AR. Results were almost instantaneous and astoundingly good. Huge thanks for a very helpful tool. --SteveG
