Developer Comment: Yahoo has disabled the chat protocol that ChitChat used. It is suggested that you check out programs that use the newer protocol, such as Adium or Fire.

1.2 beta 1 works fine for me, even with Yahoo's changes. The only problem I have is that it doesn't integrate well with Adium. If you get an IM, and then allow it through, ChitChat says the user has sent you a zillion messages and then hangs. Not good. Wish list: the ability to view web cams! Other than these two things, it's an awesome product. I love the ability to set a max font size viewable. All the PeeCee users are complaining about big fonts and I never have that problem, unless I want it. :)

Yahoo is doing a revamp of it's chat rooms after they've been slapped with a lawsuit regarding sex chat rooms for children. And advertisers have pulled out also.
