Shamoi--2008
Two days ago, happily using VLC and VLC Controller to watch anime. Same as for the past year or so. Yesterday, upgrade to Tiger. Today, notice that SC has an update out for TIger. Upgrade that. Check for VLC Controller update, get it. Notice that VLC 0.8.1 doesn't like being taken out of fullscreen, and that it doesn't like the new VLCC. Update that to 0.8.2_test2. Now, VLC works, but VLCC can't control it. The info shows up on my T610 (filename, ET), but any attempt to fast forward, or pause, or anything results in "VLC not running. Launch VLC?". I'm not sure if this is a VLC or VLCC problem.
Also, the new phone window doesn't look as good, if it's supposed to be different.

VLC Controller Usage TipHow to Control VLC from your bluetooth phone - Version: 2.6, 5/2/2004 10:13AM PST

First go to this webpage and download a program called Romeo, its a free program that lets you control applications on your mac(even your mouse cursor) with your bluetooth phone. You can even program it to use other applications. Get this great program at -

http://www.irowan.com/romeo/

And to control VLC, it should be on the webpage on the left listed under recent plugins, if not you can download it at

http://www.irowan.com/romeo/plugins/lmarti/VLC.rmp

Enjoy people, its free and its easy.

Tice, I totally agree. Not only does this stupid Salling Clicker controller for VLC require a software called Salling Clicker - it also requires the installation of a third program called VLC! And a fancy cell phone!! Now that really sucks! And it doesn't work very well, either. In fact it doesn't work at all. I told it loud and clear to start playing a movie, but it didn't answer me. Piece of crap.

VLC Controller ReviewSorry, but this app sucks! - Version: 2.4.1, 3/3/2004 02:59AM PST

First you have to get a second software (Jon's Commands 3.0d3 (REQUIRED!)), than you have to install that, than you have to install two other components by hand (no, no installer!!), than you have to configure by yourself and at least it doesn't work properly.

Oh and you have also to pay for it! Sorry, but that really sucks.
