Just bought - Developer is First Rate communication and awareness to the user. As a pro 28 years in the biz... I have a zillion gizmos already on my computers... I did give their xtensions many tries, found a bug or 2, but never bought - OK I broke down and bought because I really did need a few of the xt's finally for a few unique projects.... and also I waht to add some more value enhanced features to our design studio with prepress deliver to clients and to printers.... I reported the bugs as a reg user - and bang - afix the same day - can you ask for more - I don't think so... 5 stars for me - Bill N

Looks like the gloves are off between Gluon and Mark Cairns.
As for me, I'll be sticking with InDesign!

GLUON vs. alap or Extensis - Version: 6.18a, 1/25/2005 09:30AM PST

FYI: Our customers often refer to alap's stuff as XPert-Toys and Extensis XT's as QX-Toys (usually deleted quickly after installing GLUONs). They don't mind paying 20 bucks more for some serious Pro level Tools....that work great in Quark 3 through 6.5 and 7 to come! Type "gluon" into Google. You'll see Quarks and Gluons work together to create reality...no mention of alap or extensis ;-)
ALAP Xpert Tools Pro is my choice

Mmmmm, it's quite nice but I'll be sticking with the tried & tested ALAP Xpert Tools Pro which works great with Q6. Besides, it's a damned sight cheaper.
the comment here is — beware.
