Product Description:

FSCalendar is an application designed to be quick opening and easy to use. Its only function is to display dates in a wall calendar style. This application is great if you need to look up a day in the future to find the day of the week it is on. Drop it into the dock for easy access.

FSCalendar is in a sheet which drops down from behind the menubar. There are a few different ways to quickly move from month to month or year to year. Use the navigation buttons, the little arrows, or type into the field and press return. For easy return to the current month, simply click the Current button.

FSCalendar ReviewCan't really see the point of this. - Version: 1.2.3, 9/22/2003 07:06AM PST

I thought from the description this was going to be a menubar item which when you clicked on its icon would drop down the calendar sheet for quick reference, which would pop away again when you clicked off. Turns out it's just a regular application which displays the sheet. You have to manually hide it if you want it to run in the background.

Turn it into a menubar item to run in the background (the sheet idea popping down and up would then make sense) and you've got a useful little app. Till then, just the one star.
