Product Description:
SplitFuse is a tool that can split movies into multiple segments or fuse together movie segments that have already been split apart. SplitFuse is ideal for fusing segmented movies that you have downloaded from the web or splitting apart movies for web distribution. SplitFuse can also be used to split files into movies that are under the 2GB limit imposed by iMovie. It has a number of useful features:
- Split movies into any number of equally sized segments, or into segments of a specific length
- Offers complete control over the names of split segments
- Fuse together any number of segments and save the movie as a self-contained movie or as a movie that references the fused segments
- SplitFuse is super cheap. Other programs that do the same thing would like to charge up to $20 USD! SplitFuse is just $9.95 USD!
What's new in this version:
- Intel compatible. Numerous bug fixes aimed at creating a more stable program.
- Added better support for common program functions like Select All, remove multiple clips, etc.

I used this to join files. I had hoped this would be able to take them and flawlessly put them together, but it does not. There is a skip where the files come together which is most unfortunate if you are joining a movie. I wouldn't even bother using this.

This is a perfect application to trim, split, recombine or just edit QT movies into "Clips" to use for research or many other purposes. I use it to get clips of knowledge from DVD's without all the superfluous info or filler talk.
