Product Description:

LinCVS is a graphical Interface for the cvs client commandline tool on the Unix, Windows and Mac OS X platform. It allows ato load modules from a server (checkout), create modules on the server (import), as well as checking the state of directories and individual files or updating them. Basic operations like add, remove and commit are supported as matter of course, just like showing the actual differences between the server version and the local sandbox, graphical display of the version tree, and manifoldy graphical support of project maintenance. All actions are logged on the cvs server (configurable via history), and are therewith comprehensible.

To keep LinCVS independant of the cvs version, LinCVS uses the local but separately installed cvs and therefore always should work with the latest version.

What's new in this version:

few bugfixes
This package contains also the rshwrapper tool which is needed for CVS via SSH. If you run into trouble using SSH send an email to bugs@lincvs.com.

This is a good CVS client. Has better support for binary uploads than MacCVS, although the interface is less mac-like. This is a good CVS client

LinCVS is a much more efficient and comfortable way to manage your CVS repositories. Visualize the state of your files all at once, without having to pick through each one in the terminal. LinCVS has a lot of really useful features, and, all round, is a must-have tool. It's very easy to use. :)

I've tried all other available (@versiontracker) free graphical clients and this one is the best. (Almost?) all operations can be executed from the menus and status updates, patching, etc... works fine.
