New Updates Rock!

I've been using TimeNet for awhile now and I must say that I really really like it. The few things that have bugged me, (lacking nice invoice templates, no dock animation when the timer is running, and some minor bugs with invoice numbering) have all been fixed in the last few updates.
I will say one thing I can't wait for is estimates, but I hear that is coming soon. I can't wait to see how this awesome software continues to improve! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this to anyone looking for time and billing software for their work. I've tried a bunch, and continue to check out the others, but TimeNet continues to be my favorite.
Oh and I have to mention the support is quite excellent too. Perry has helped me to resolve several issues in a friendly and timely manor.
Highly recommend this software!!!

I have downloaded, installed, registered, paid somewhat 40€ and here is my comment:
- numeric bugs:
converts 75 to 7500, 75000 and 0.75, depending how many dots and/or commas you have added. even entering no seperator yields in irratic number behavoir (open prefs: enter value, close, reopen: new random value, close, open: another new random value)
- no support:
Author refuses to anser email, support requests, does not allow forum usage (im wainting for my admin aproval about 3 weeks now)
-inadequate workaround:
i found a woirkaround in FAQ recommending to set my system to english. bug persists, all applications gone mad, Timenet still can't calculate 1 hour x 150 € to 150 € billing
Resume:
HANDS OFF if you are non-US

Don't have a whole lot else to say, really.
This software has really come through for me and sits right in my dock.
I've used others before TimeNet came along, but none since!
It was worth every penny of the shareware fee.
One thing though...
I think since downloading the newest update the clock has stopped turning in the dock...that was a big help as I hide TimeNet as I'm working but knew it was active by seeing the clock turning.
Anyone else see this?

Markups & %Complete - Version: 3.9.13, 2/17/2008 12:00AM PST

Just give me a button to add an automatic %markup to expenses or reimburseables. It would also be handy to be able to bill on a % complete basis for set fee jobs rather than being forced into a time & expense, not to exceed format.
Thanks. I really like the flexibility of the formating. It allows me to create (long) work arounds for the above issues.

I just wanted to thank Perry and let everyone know who is thinking about purchasing this software; that I did my research on all available and found this to be by far the easiest to use.
I did have a small glitch come up the other day and instead of having to sit on the phone all day and not have my problem solved...one quick email to support and Perry was working on it right away. He responded to my email within 5 minutes and the problem was taken care of professionally and quickly.
You would be crazy to not choose this product.
Paige
It's 2007 and TimeNet is super!

All these comments are old, so I figured I would add something others could get info from. I have a design firm with 3 other designers. We have a networked hard drive, but until we downloaded TimeNet, weren't able to check status visually. We looked into Studiometry (in our price range) and even called File Maker Pro for them to tell us that the networkable version started at $6,000 (not in our price range). TimeNet proved to be quick to start up with our info and use right away. We could also host the files on our network drive so no computer was bogged down (like studiometry). The new updates have been nice and we have been getting excellent customer support. On occasion, it has taken a day or so for a reply, but the reply was either an update or instructions on what to do. It seems that the developer works on the case impediately and sends the answer, instead of leaving me hanging (cough* Adobe cough*).
Anyways, great product. It will be even better too. The developer has done a case study on our firm and a others to get real input and feedback on the way we use TimeNet. Net month (October), TimeNet 4.0 is releasing and should prove to be a great new app. We can't wait to get the new one.

TimeNet is the way to go!

I'm creative director for a design firm and have come to love TimeNet. We needed something to communicate project development through our team over a network and it works great. We were using Studiometry (demo) and found it very useful, however, not as easy to jump into as TimeNet. The other great part is that TimeNet reads files off of a network drive (if you decide to place them there) so no one computer is bogged down on ram because of file hosting. I don't know how we managed without it, honestly.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys!! =(
It does everything, it's incredibly easy to use, the support is great, the price is low. This product is unbelievable, I don't know where I would be without TimeNet! :o)
