CopyWrite ReviewMoved on... - Version: 2.2.8, 1/20/2007 01:00PM PST

I liked Copywrite, I really did. However, after reported bugs went unfixed and suggestions were not implemented... not to speak of no update since May 2006, I started looking around... and found Scrivener! It has everything and more that is missing in Copywrite, starting with footnotes, outlines, structures, tables, and image support. Yet it is very simple. Sorry Bartas Technologies, but I've moved on.

Nice idea but very limited. It is not a good tool for scientific writing. There is no support for equations, tables, or figures.

This software could benefit a lot from linkback technology. Could it be possible for example to type a equation in CopyWrite in LaTeX and then convert it, with LaTeXit? I can do that in TextEdit for example. Not in CopyWrite.

After purchasing CopyWrite I ended up writing in CopyWrite, copying to TextEdit and writing Equations in TextEdit. This is very inefficient.
