Broken again - Version: 5.3, 8/19/2006 07:49AM PST

I loved Ollie's tab but now it's broken again. Seems to take months everytime Safari is updated to fix this simple little progam. Obviously it's mostly Apple's fault but geez, either pull this from VT or update it!
Good idea; could use some customization

Pres!
Ollie's Tab replaces the Increase Font Size and Decrease Font Size button pair with buttons that let you click to create new tabs, instead of doing Command-T or whatnot.
The developer needs to make some actual documentation, as most of the comments here appear to be people bumping up against issues that would normally be handled in any standard read-me. There is no read-me, not enough details here on the VT page, and even the developer's site is so terse that it comes across as sullen and unfriendly. Basically "It gives you buttons. It's free. Download it."
In addition to documentation, it would be great to have options as to just which buttons get replaced. I use the font-size buttons all the time, so I uninstalled this about five seconds after I noticed my buttons were gone. On the other hand I have no use for Home and Print, for example, and would love to have Ollie's Tab take control of them instead.
That said, it does do what it says. It just needs to say what it does a bit more verbosely... :) Half a point off each for lack of docs and lack of customizability: 4 stars.

DANGER - Removes font size buttons!

This application misleadingly does not tell you that it removes the buttons that increase or decrease font size. To save Command-T, we now have to resort to Command-Shift-= to increase font size, etc. This is a PITA.
Why not add an EXTRA button to the toolbar? This is upsetting, and I hope it does uninstall when I rerun the installer.
