MPEG2Works ReviewSimply Fantastic - Version: 3.5.4, 8/10/2006 07:40PM PST

I have used this App for several years now, And have yet to need it to do something it cannot do....it does everything but cook you breakfast and tuck you into bed. The developer is not only insanely fast with support, but he truly cares about his customer base, and will go to ridiculous lengths to help. I only wish that i could award it more stars... -Basil Dmitri Karas

MPEG2Works ReviewExcellent support - Version: 3.5.4, 2/9/2006 06:07AM PST

Used this to convert between PAL and NTSC DVDs. Couldn't say it was exactly fast, but the support was absolutely first-rate. Had some problems (seems this conversion is far-from-simple), but thanks to the support these could be overcome. Plus I learnt alot about DVD basics. Pretty sophisticated software for the price, and support on top of that...

MPEG2Works ReviewNot working for me... - Version: 3.5.4, 6/25/2005 02:56AM PST

Just wanted to convert PAL .VOB to NTSC .VOB files and all I ever got was AppleScript errors. Searched the forums provided and saw the answers were to get unlinked missing codecs or to split the files smaller. Don't think I'll pay $10 to get a non-operational or imcomplete app. (at least for my purposes). Not interested in spending any more than 4 hours trying to get this thing to work. Sounds promising though. Let me know when this app. is ready for public release.

MPEG2Works ReviewGreat Value! - Fabulous Support! - Version: 3.5.1, 11/6/2004 06:42PM PST

SERBIAN has a great product and great support. He quickly helped me troubleshoot a conflict caused by another package (not his) and get up and running. His package utilizes available software and adds a simple interface that saves the braindamage of manipulating multiple packages and endless obscure commands in the terminal.

Easy to use and it does just what I want. It creates ready to burn (like with Toast) DVD and SVCD images. Bonus 'Export to DV' package is very handy too for making easy to edit (with QuickTime Pro, iMovie, Final Cut, etc.) DV files from MPEGs and then preparing them to Burn DVD or SVCD after editing.

MPEG2Works ReviewOh there it is. - Version: 3.5, 9/12/2004 06:20PM PST

Remaining true to his reputation for rapid customer support, the developer immediately addressed my earlier comment. This is a product that continues to improve with each release and is money well spent.

MPEG2Works CommentarySo where is it? - Version: 3.5, 9/12/2004 03:22PM PST

JHardy
The download link is for version 3.4.5 - well out of date. Couldn't find it on the developer's website either. I guess registered users don't get any special notification but it would be nice if 3.5 could be found somewhere.

THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT of this kind at the Internet! There is no better, faster, reliable, stabile and inexpensive software for authoring/conversion! I am using it from the day it has appeared on the Internet and I will use it as long as Mr. SERBIAN continues to update and upgrade it! Thank you Mr. SERBIAN!
