If this is a Mach-O binary, then shouldn't you probably change the "LSPrefersCarbon" in the Info.plist to "LSRequiresCarbon"? That'll remove the checkbox for the option to "Open in the Classic environment" (which I assume will fail, if it's not a PEF executable) from the Finder's Get Info window.

since when does unix find allow you to find based on label? answer: it doesnt.
