Product Description:

Informator incorporates the Finder Get Info functions and adds a powerful suite of tools for viewing and editing file information AND file contents. Informator allows you to see:

detailed information about image files: colors, sizes, resolution, clipping paths, icc profiles, etc.
EXIF and IPTC data
EPS metadata: fonts, embedded images...
Quicktime movie annotations
file and volume properties
images
multipage PDF's
movies in file formats supported by Quicktime
Flash movies and animations
Hex and ASCII data
catalog info

Informator also lets you:

preview AND edit text, RTF files and clippings
modify priveleges
batch process files
extended rename functions
change creator, type, extension
add icons
edit normally "untouchable" file info, like creator, type, file dates...
view slideshows with images, movies or text

All of these functions are easy to get to and use, thanks to:

floating window, with adjustable transparency
collapse to title bar function
shortcuts and "hot" corners
"drag-able" info windows allow you to work in a larger, separate window for previews, file content viewing and editing
simple interface allows you to just click on a folder or file in the Finder, and Informator shows you the desired file data

Additionally Informator makes it possible to get information of embedded images from other applications than the Finder too, like Adobe Indesign or Quark Xpress

Can you STRONGLY consider changing the user interface of your apps? They just don't look Mac-like at all. They are more like Windows boxes, not Mac OS X Aqua or Cocoa design. I just looked at both Standard and Pro version, and decided that with such poor application interface design I don't want to spoil my warm feelings to Mac.

This program is not bad at all. It runs great on my iBook G4 1.07 Ghz with 768 MB of RAM running 10.3.5. While the GUI does indeed leave something to be desired, it is not hard to get used to and is quite helpful. The wealth of features available in the Pro version allow one to edit many different aspects of an image file without launching another application.
