Product Description:

When you want to publish images on the internet or when you want to email them to your friends, one of the biggest worries is the size of the files you are sending. Indeed, the bigger the file is, the longer it will take you to send it or upload it. And the bigger it is, the longer it will take for your friend to download it. The aim is to make files as small as possible, Unfortunately, making the files smaller makes the quality go down. You therefore have to find a good compromise between file size and image quality.

Documentation rewritten (in particular concerning the image quality)

Removes XML and tag data. Reduced my 145k image to 32k.

I did have success in increasing the file size of my test file both with a custom quality setting of 80 and letting the app leave the quality alone.

Too bad. I could use an app that decreases the size.

Tried this with several jpg files optimized with Photoshop. It actually INCREASED the file size by several dozen bytes. If you already optimize your files, I would recommend trying SmallImage and comparing the file sizes; you might find results you don't like.
