acqlite Troubleshooting ReportConnecting................ - Version: 0.2.9, 7/21/2007 10:01AM PST

Hi all,
To resolve the connection problems, you have to add Gnutella.Net to Acqlite.
(Make sure neither of the below sites are running whilst carrying out the following. So quit them NOW !)
To explain : If you already have FrostWire or LimeWire for OSX, open up the preferences folder
(User/Library/Preferences/LimeWire).
Now open Acqlite's preferences folder. If you see a gnutella.net folder in Acqlite's folder - delete it and
empty the trash. If there is no gnutella.net folder - no problem.
With gnutella.net no longer in Acqlite's folder, go back to your Lime/FrostWire folder, where you will
see a gnutella.net icon. Right click and 'copy gnutella.net'. Now go into the Acqlite folder, right click in a blank area and select 'paste item'. The Gnutella icon should appear in Acqlite's folder.
Close both folders and restart Acqlite. This should solve the problem. Be patient and allow Acqlite to sort itself out before the servers appear on this first run.
You may think you may as well continue using LimeWire or FrostWire if all Acqlite is doing is exactly the same thing regarding searches. I guess it's which application that takes your fancy looks-wise.

NB: I am not connected with any P2P site.

acqlite ReviewCould not... - Version: 0.2.8, 4/20/2007 08:05PM PST

search let alone download.
be trouble-shot as docs are even worse than Aquisition.
0.2.9 would not complile either.

I would advise a non-java-based app if possible.
