KMremoteControl CommentaryTrial no want to function - Version: 1.52, 3/19/2007 09:54AM PST

I always get the message:
Can't Activate Remote Control
Can't communicate with the system to be remote [2026]

I read the installation guidance again and again and tried all imaginable, without success.
Is it true, which a reviewer wrote: The
sample version is to function only for 15 minutes?
If yes, which is to do after 15 minutes, if I did not bring the whole yet to running?
A renewed download? Relaunch it again, on both computers dosen't work!

The price for the license to pay is no problem, if I saw that it really functions with my Swiss keyboard.
The time, which I spent on all the tests is a repeated more expensively than each KVM SWITCH or this Tool.
I am very frustrated!

KMremoteControl ReviewTerrible trial, awful licensing system - Version: 1.52, 1/10/2007 04:10PM PST

Like the previous reviewer, I had trouble even getting the trial to work due to the difficult licensing scheme from the developer's License Control. From using this and the the developers other products, I can tell you that License Control is not something you want on your computer - unless you want to go back to kindergarten. Hard drive crash, sold your computer? Get ready to spend the week in the principal's office explaining how and why, faxing in documents to Bryan Derman. Obnoxious.

I'd rather buy Microsoft (well not really, but that gives you a point of reference anyway).

KMremoteControl Commentary15 min trial? - Version: 1.52, 8/8/2006 05:13PM PST

How is one expected to actually try and see if something is worth paying for with only a 15 min trial? 15 days I can understand, but 15 minutes? Especially with a utility like this. Does the developer actually think that one can have a useful experience when you go through all of that to install this, get it working and then you use it a couple of times, get up from your desk and it's already expired? Then you relaunch it again, on both computers, take a phone call, go to use it and it times out a minute later. Obnoxious.
