IconBuilder is a filter for use with Adobe Photoshop? that makes creating icons a snap. IconBuilder Pro has been especially engineered for use with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or Photoshop Elements 2.0 and Mac OS X.

IconBuilder Pro contains all the great features you've come to know and depend on like converting from Mac to Win in a single click, translucent / transparent masking of icons, etc. as well as an updated user interface and documentation for use with Apple's new OS X and support for Open/Drop folder states in Jaguar.

What's new in this version:

New option to save both compressed and uncompressed Vista ICO files
Open/drop states now save correctly on Intel machines
Added warning about conflict with onOne Library plug-in
Photoshop no longer crashes when About Plug-In > IconBuilder is used
Other small bug fixes

i've been wanting to use this program for several years, unfortunately $80 is more than i can spend for it. that's about what i pay as a student for the entire Macromedia suite...so i've been using Fireworks and converting the PNG files with various free and less expensive apps. unless they have some sort of sale or student discount, as a hobbyist i can't justify the cost. bummer :(

The first icon i made with the tutorial was fine. Then i tried to make my own and the whole think crapped on me. I can't make anything without getting lines across all my images. Can anyone tell me why!?
