OneClickConvert ReviewNeeds Work - Version: 1.2, 4/25/2005 03:07PM PST

OneClickConverter is a good idea, but it needs A LOT of work.

First, It's interface is chunky. It takes up too much room on the screen and it looks really ugly. As a matter of fact, it looks as bad as Windows!!!

Second, the trial is REALLY annoying. Whenever I open it, it makes me wait 15 seconds to use it.

Third, it's implementation of drag-and-drop stinks. I should be able to just drag a file into the dock icon and convert a file. Sure, OCC lets you do this, but it just defaults to translating it to AppleWorks document. It should let me choose!

Overall, OCC is a very poor program for an idea that is so great!!

OneClickConvert ReviewOCC initally great but then disappoints - Version: 1.0, 2/28/2004 01:08PM PST

OCC converted tables with embedded pictures that MacLink Plus delux (v. 13 & v. 14) made gobble-di-gook out of and I was very pleased, but then,...

OCC did not recognize a particular Word X document

AND OCC counted it as a conversion - this happened several times, so I did not get full use of the demo.

Third the company asked me to send them the file and despite another email have not responded even though its now several days. So much for customer service!
