It's a pretty simple little application. Though I don't know if I'd pay $5 for it (that's a day's lunch for a college student, after all :) ). It needs to add a bit more in the realm of customization. I'd like to be able to customize the background and key combination which invokes the screen lock, for example. Command-0 is simply too common in other applications. The combination needs to be at least 3 keys to avoid conflicting with other apps.

Also, allowing the machine's administrator to decide whether or not he wants admins to be able to unlock user sessions would make this a very good option for deployment in a lab or work environment. Right now, I could download this to a lab machine and run it (since it has no installer), and no one would be able to get back into the screen without rebooting the machine, including an administrator.

(again, to be fair) ... is that Jaguar doesn't let you require an unlock when the computer wakes from sleep. If you specifically put the machine to sleep, the screensaver is likely to have not kicked in. Locking and screensavering shouldn't necessarily have to go together all the time. Panther adds "require unlock on wake" as a new feature, to the Security Pane in System Preferences. ScreenLock sounds like it implements something similar on Jaguar (although I also have not installed ScreenLock).
