- More Choices: Added many options to choose which songs should be processed by iVolume, e.g. you can let iVolume process all the songs that are currently selected in iTunes.
- Your Favorite: The default behaviour of the Start button can be configured to fit your preferred mode.
- Speed: Improved performance, especially when processing very large iTunes libraries.
- Drag & Drop: Songs can not be dragged e.g. out of iTunes into Groups in iVolume and out of iVolume into Playlists in iTunes.
- Where's the File: When needed, jump directly to the file of a song with 'Show Track in Finder'.
- Maintenance: Various improvements and bugfixes.

To me it appears sound check (and iVol) only come into operation via the headphone socket.
