In Need of Updating - Version: 2.0b16, 1/4/2007 07:59AM PST

I'm looking for an audio CD collection manager. InCDius is attractive, but it has trouble with Unicode (AFAIC, fatal flaw) and it can connect only to freedb; worst of all, it hasn't been updated since early 2004 and it looks like it has been abandoned. And that's too bad, because it has some very interesting features (scanning mounted CDs automatically, customisable database with per-track or per-CD fields, extensive AppleScript support) which current alternatives (CDpedia, Delicious Library) lack.
very effective

Much cleaner and faster than any of the other CD catalog apps. Freedb is pretty good as a resource for entering data - not as extensive as MyMusic's CDDB, but much more useable with this app, and much faster, especially for searching. My few complaints - no printable reports that allow for more than title and performer, and revisions to freedb are not supported, even though freedb allows such if apps will support revisions. I am also concerned that InCDius seems to have stalled in development - nothing heard from the author since March 2004.
Great app, one problem - Version: 2.0b16, 11/2/2004 01:02PM PST

App works great for cataloging cd titles and accessing song titles. The one issue is that the extra info window does not retain information after it is inputted. Thanks for the app though. Still very effective
