Product Description:

HiFijack is our nimble little application that provides possibly the easiest available way to download free music. Type in track title and artist and hit search, listen to the preview to check the song is the right one, then hit the iTunes button to download and add the MP3 to iTunes! Just three simple steps and best of all, it's free! The MP3s are found all across the internet where people have uploaded them and while this does mean that not everything will be available all of the time, it allows HiFijack - most of the time - to bring you the right tune right away.

The current version features:

-One-click download and iTunes import, with no clutter left behind!
-Quick, behind-the scenes remote file verification to ensure that you're never told a song is available when the MP3 file is actually dead
-Global statistics (last successful download and total downloads across all users)
-It's free!

What's new in this version:

Dramatically improved search results, slight graphical enhancement and bugfixes.

No bells & whistles here, just the brass tacks of quick & easy downloading a SONG you want. It's really a beautifully implemented application, simple & sweet. I plugged in Jimmy Buffet and it instantly found Margaritaville. Listed to a few bars then hit the iTunes button to download it. Next I plugged in 2525 as the title, and low & behold it found the Zager & Evans In the year 2525 as well. No it won't give you a listing of ALL of a particular artist's hits, but if you KNOW what song you want it's just a click or two to have it D/L'd into your iTunes Library!

This thing is a JOKE!!!!!
If you enter an artist's name you VERY Quickly get ONE, and ONLY one, selection!
If you enter the title of another song by the SAME artist you get ONE more, and ONLY one more selection!
If you search for the same artist in Frostwire (or Limewire) you may get almost 1000 selections!
And Frostwire is FREE and just about as QUICK!!

I downloaded the app, then asked it to find three pretty arcane titles -- which it immediately did! I now have MP3s of pretty high quality in my iTunes! I love it!

It doesn't have any documentation that I know of, but it was easy to figure out how to work it.
