Keynote Animations ReviewBuyer Beware!!!! - Version: 5.0.1, 9/7/2007 10:39AM PST

On 28 August 2007, I purchased the "suite' from these rippoff artists...
Nice stuff - paid a total of $181.00 AUD for all of it... i am OK with that...
What I am not OK with is that 11 days later; to upgrade the next vesion, I have to pay for upgrades.
That sucks big time!!!
Maybe that is how they do business in Lituania!

I will not only never purchase for you d3ckw@d$ again, I will tell all about it on every blog that mentions your products... Engadget, TUAW, MDN, VersionTracker, MacUpdate, etc. etc. etc.
Am I pi$$ed - understatement!

Keynote Animations Commentarycute, but some what pointless - Version: 1.0, 8/22/2003 07:21AM PST

I'm a 3D animator hobbyist, and i must say, if I had the foresight to whip up some cute little animations such as these for a profit, I'd be pretty satisfied with myself. Nothing technically challenging about this at all: make a ring of blue spheres, and animate them to spin 360°, now loop... wow. Some one will be impressed by this no doubt, but I was definitely not. These are simplistic 3D animations that offer no interactivity, they only serve as a distraction from your other wise stale and dull presentation.

Keynote Animations CommentaryDemo insufficient - Version: 1.0, 8/22/2003 07:21AM PST

I agree with the other posters that the demo just does not cut it. I need to see all 15 objects in action---preferably in context of how the objects work in a live presentation. At this point, the objects cost too much in my opinion and possibly serve as a distraction instead of as a reenforcement to key ideas.

Perhaps short video clips would be more useful and would provide more impact that static people shots or other such still photographs.

I hate to recommend or not recommend since I have not seen all of the objects, but I have to vote to submit these comments.

I want to encourage the developers to continue with new ideas, but perhaps they should survey some of us first before going into full development if at all possible.
