It is called 1.2 because it counts an a generic MacBook softwre update (the other 1.1 ecc are old ones). This update enable the use of some new features on the same OS we already have, since 10.5.6 is not out yet.

This is what happens when you rush something out the door.
I would advise some folks to wait for rev.B of these laptops judging by a release of an update before the units are available.
