This is so cool! The only thing I would like to see is directions that are built into the program, so you do not have to get them through a web browser. But it is still really cool!

PodQuest ReviewiSync overrides PodQuest - Version: 1.1.1, 12/20/2003 10:44AM PST

PodQuest worked great for me until the next time I ran iSynch to synchronize iCal with the iPod. That wiped out the directions I had downloaded to my iPod. I wrote to the developer about this and have not heard back. Looks like the design needs to be changed so that the PodQuest notes are integrated with whatever iSynch is doing.

PodQuest Troubleshooting Reportwon't launch - Version: 1.1, 12/13/2003 02:01PM PST

madprof
the application does not launch. well it launches technically but no window appears. there is a running process. This might be because I don't have my iPod connected at the moment, but bad design if that's the case.

Right after I poster that last message, the company emailed me back and said to make sure that i have my notes folder or my contacts fold on my ipod still and that was the problem. Works now great app. Very cool and much better (to me) that haveing them on my PDA. I am giving it 5 stars to offset my one star, it realy is a 4 star app.

I installed Podquest, found the directions I need on mapquest.com but I am not seeing the option added to menu bar. Where does that option show up exactly?

PodQuest CommentaryMy two cents - Version: 1.0, 8/19/2003 10:38PM PST

Edit_Dude
Nice idea, but you can save the direction text from MapQuest to a text file and copy that file to your iPod manually. For $10, I'll just do it manually. Now, if it were more like a buck or three, it might be worth saving the extra 30 seconds to accomplish the task.
