Wow, I’m really impressed by this great MOD player. After some really bad years with MOD files on Mac OS X, this app rocks the house. My only hope is that there will be a universal binary soon so leading to a superior performance on Intel-Macs too.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious !

Plays wonderfully well and generates high quality rich sounds. It has revived my aging mod collection. Wow ! Blast from the past !
The author deserves two thumbs up !

This app is the biggest crap ever seen. After half an hour I didn't manage to play ONE single file - no mp3, no flac, no aif - simply nothing. Just errors: "Unknown module format". m3u-playlists generated with this app don't open in iTunes - is there just ONE thing this program actually does?

Though could use some attention when it comes to library feature and interface.
You can't have two files with same name, unlike iTunes - so if you have one "Title.mod" in a playlist, its going to interfere with file of same name in other playlists. Besides, if you use library feature it keeps all songs in one directory, obviously ruining any structuring attempts and trashing "duplicate" files. Actually, all this library stuff works rather wierd when I drag&drop... copies files when I'd rather not... Needs some tweaking to reach iTune's standarts.
About interface... its not getting fully saved in preferences it seems, each time CocoModX starts view options are reset to defaults.
Equalizer would be great to have.
Otherwise, works better then any other .mod player I tried for mac, kudos to developer.

Does, what it promises: Plays all my MODs. But I am a very playful person and so I miss some great Equalizer and animated Grafix FX, like some of the MS-DOS players have had, so I only award 4 stars.;-)
Keep on rockin!

I finally got to use my 'Ultimate MOD Collection' CDROM again that I bought so many years ago for the PC. I used the WOW program back then and remembered I was impressed. Now I'm even more impressed. I love the retro-style!
Really good!

Positive: Sound/Playback quality - No errors/correct playing of songs - Nice GUI
Negative: no recursive (?) adding of files (selecting one folder and ALL songs in ALL subfolders are loaded) - "Low Pass Filter" of Amiga sounds "off" (original Amiga playback sounds sharper, clearer) - Seems to take huge load of CPU ??? - Would like to see integration of more formats
There is the "UADE" project, I wonder if there will be ever a GUI for it, or even a working OS X version. Can´t find it. *sigh* There go my custom songs...
