Product Description:

CocoModX is an freeware audio module player for Mac OS X.

It is capable of playing 669, ahx, ams, amf, asy, cba, digi, dsm, far, gdm, imf, it, m15, mdl, med, mod, mtm, mxm, okta, plm, psm, ptm, s3m, stm, stx, tfmx, ult, uni, umx, xm files and zipped mod files named mdz.

It also has the capability of downloading files from http and ftp sites and decompress lha, umx and zip files.

Based on MilkyPlay, MikMod, BASSMOD and TFMXPlay.

DigiTrekker and Digital Tracker playback support
Update MilkyPlay
New MilkyPlay options : 3 octaves-limit, 8xx and E8x effect support
Better sub-song support i.e Pinball Fantasies, Pinball Dreams ...
Get song-length from all MilkyPlay playable files ( not AHX and Future Composer )
Minor GUI layout changes
Added new column Path
Copy&paste files between two playlist, from and into other applications
Copy&paste selected tracks as text into the pastboard ( Hold ALT key by open the Edit menu )
Save search results by switching between playlists
Added info url into information window for the selected audio format
Update Spotlight plugin
Removed FMOD from CocoModX

Fixed Bugs:

Set iChat Status back after closing CocoModX
Fixed time output after pausing or manual position change
Fixed problem by loading track informations by adding compressed files

Wow, I’m really impressed by this great MOD player. After some really bad years with MOD files on Mac OS X, this app rocks the house. My only hope is that there will be a universal binary soon so leading to a superior performance on Intel-Macs too.
