Product Description:

Tofu is an novel application which addresses the problem that many people don't like reading text on the screen. It arranges text in columns, which allows fast text reading. Furthermore, it completely avoids vertical scrolling. You scroll from column to column horizontally, which makes the text feel more stable and easier to keep track of.

What's new in this version:

2.0a2:

Tofu is now a Universal Binary. If you have an Intel Mac, please let me know if it works for you.
Rewrote full-screen mode to show the menu bar and Dock (if you move your mouse over the edge) and to allow switching to other documents and applications. This means more than one document can be in full-screen mode at the same time. This hopefully also fixes crashes some people were experiencing.
Window resizing now snaps to quarters of a column width, to make fitting to columns easier.
Command-Equals can now be used to make text bigger.

2.0a1:

Added PDF support. This is having to guess where paragraph breaks are, so it may not work well for complex documents. Let me know if it works for you.
A spinning progress indicator is now shown in the top left corner while text is being laid out..

A great text reader!
I have used Tofu for several years, first with OS 10.3 and now with 10.5. Have an easier time reading text and some news articles. I like the fact that links work and that I can adjust it to my current iMac screen.I drag and drop from textEdit and cut and paste from a web browser.
