uGrabIt ReviewWhere's the audio support? - Version: 1.5, 10/11/2009 03:03PM PST

The software does offers a wide range of compression formats and settings to be tweaked, but I found it hard to believe that there's no audio support. At first I thought I had choosen the "wrong" compression codec, but then I tried 3 other popular codecs and none recorded the audio along with the video, when I played back the recorded clips on quicktime.

Could not find any reference to audio on the interface neither on the settings page, so I am assuming it doesn't do audio at all - and that makes it useless for me.

Sad conclusion, since I can't seem to find a piece of software capable of doing the simple task of recording video clips (with audio) from my iSight. Unbeliaveble.

Please tell me I am wrong!

Best,

Pedro

uGrabIt CommentaryActually you can choose inputs. :-) - Version: 1.5, 6/5/2006 02:53AM PST

Just hit source/CoDec and choose the device you want to capture from. It is not for iSights only, but supports a wide range of inputs.

All the best,
