I really must say this is one of my "never leave home without it" applications,
Since Mac OS X first appearance I was not first to switch to it because some of my indispensable apps were not ready either, In this class I will mention also TypeIt4Me which is a great partner for Pads X.

dating back to System 9 that has been constantly improved and now fits nicely with OS X. Its developer is dedicated and responds quickly to suggestions. Pads X is better than 90% of its competition.
Tried to import a Pads data file into PadsX and was informed that PadsX doesn't import but it can "copy" the data. I click OK, and PadsX crashes.
This is Not-Ready-For-Prime-Time software. Maybe after others beta test it I'll come and look again.
