NotePad Commentarypretty close - Version: 2.6b2, 10/16/2007 03:51PM PST

Overall, I like. Simple and functional. Still some beta issues - doesn't remember "save tab", or any font formatting after restarting. Also, I wish the right side tab page numbers were optional to keep the window simple.

NotePad Reviewworks for me, never used the OS 9 version - Version: 2.6b1, 10/6/2007 08:03PM PST

I have a ppc G4 powerbook and 10.4.9

I don't know why no one has done this since the original. It is much less cluttering to have the pages stacked like that.

This is very extremely cool, and fills a definite need! The only change I'd make is to allow the user to choose the font and font size in Preferences. Now, I'm NOT talking about making this into some kind of full-featured text editor, but, on the other hand, some of us don't see so good anymore, so the ability to choose which font and that font's size, would be a big help to some folks. Otherwise, I'd give this a big thumbs up!!
