Product Description:
PhotoReviewer is a photo management app that helps you to sort through your incoming photos from your digital camera (including raw images!). Quickly view your photos and choose which ones are "keepers", sort them into different folders, view histograms, rename them sequentially, and more. PhotoReviewer belongs between your digital camera and iPhoto, weeding and sorting your photos before iPhoto gets bogged down by them. It also makes a great slideshow app!
What's new in this version:
- Added a preference for scanning or not scanning subfolders of the review folder
- Added support for approved and vetoed folders inside the review folder
- Added the ability to configure the default state of new reviews
- Added controls in Thumbnail Mode for showing thumb filenames and actions
- Fixed an issue with display of some MRW files
- Fixed alphabetic sorting of review files to treat sequential numbers correctly
- Fixed a problem with memory usage for users with 2GB or more of memory
- Fixed a problem with keyboard control of sorting folders
- Fixed a problem with absolute-path sorting folders
- Miscellaneous minor bug fixes and UI cleanup

I have dreamed about a product like this for years to ease the process of transferring images from my digital cameras to my archive on our server, and now here it is! I'm only sad that I didn't discover it earlier, as it would have saved me from hours of unnecessary messing around when transferring images across.
Apart from one minor suggestion which I have made to the developers directly (ability to approve into a specified folder rather than just the 10 preset folders), I think this is just perfect for my needs - and those of ANYONE who has to move images from a digital camera or flash memory cards onto their computer.
It is full of neat and intelligent details - these guys have really thought about the problem and produced some software where the program does as much as possible of the fiddly stuff for you.
This is just a GREAT product! AND it's very reasonably priced into the bargain.

I have used this since it first appeared and am delighted with this much-improved version of an already great application. It is a wonderfully efficient way to sort many photos quickly.
