Product Description:

IPSecuritas is a front-end of the Mac OS X IPSec subsystem built in the kernel and allows to configure and establish secure IP tunnels between your machine or network with a remote network (for example your office network) using the non-secure services offered by the Internet. IPSec is a well-defined and established IETF standard and is considered secure (as opposed to for example P2TP, which offers limited security).

What's new in this version:

  • Added Sparkle.framework for automatic software updates of IPSecuritas (MacOS 10.4 and higher only)
  • Added connection warning and error indication to menu bar item icon
  • Added a traffic graph to the statistics window
  • Dashboard Widget is now installed automatically when IPSecuritas is first run
  • Visually vamped up Dashboard Widget
  • Updated User Manual
  • Added new HOWTO descriptions and updated others
  • Fixed a problem with traffic statistics that could lead to a crash of the daemon

IPSecuritas - is fantastic.
I used version 3.1, then used the beta versions of 3.2 last year.
I've used it successfully connect to various Netgear VPN's FVG114P, FVS318, FVG318, FVS338.

The developer is very responsive. I'd recommend donating to help with the development - given what VPN tracker costs.

Whoo-Hoo!! I'm finally able to connect to the SonicWALL TZ-170 at my client's location. This is a huge deal as the only other alternative was the WAY over-priced "VPN Tracker" software.

Works better than the VPN Tracker solution (which for our gateway configuration requires the "Pro" version which costs $249). Very pleased!
