Hey petrova, what did you do with your computer that PasswordMenu messed up? ;) I used 2.4 before I installed version 2.5 and this upgrade worked for me without any problems. Maybe there is something wrong with your system, I also think here would be more posts like yours if it would be true what you say.
As said, not a problem for me since I installed it the first time (version 1.2).

When the program is running, a white rectangle, approximately 50 x 40 pixels appears on the desktop at a point near the top, towards the left. It is an "official" white rectangle because it casts a shadow. It is completely immune to being clicked on, dragged or even spoken to. When Password Menu is exited, the rectangle vanishes. The rectangle irritated me so much that now I have made Password Menu vanish.
This is a pity because Password Menu is a program that is definitely on the right track, and, had it worked properly, I would have registered it. I like the idea of easily accessible, low hassle passwords in the menubar a lot.
What a pity.
