Product Description:

This add-in automatically imports and then scales pictures to fit PowerPoint's full screen regardless of the picture's original size. Entry animation, brightness, contrast, and orientation can be controlled by the add-in.

What's new in this version:

New in this version is the ability to import an entire folder or directory's worth of pictures at once and (optional) add random entry animation in PowerPoint Version X.

This plug in really makes inserting images easy. THe new version even supports bulk imports which is a huge time saver. Congratulation to the author :-)

The existence of this script for 25 bucks just shows that MS fails at implementing simple, much-needed and much-wanted features - do they listen to their customers at all? (other examples: automatically insert multiple worksheets from multiple files into Excel, Excel cascaded and stacked bar graphs combined, etc.)
I have not tried this program, but there is a free alternative (not as comfortable). An AppleScript can be found at: http://bbs.applescript.net/viewtopic.php?t=3847&highlight=powerpoint
