when does this app leave "Beta" status

well its been 2 or 3 years since i need to use vchat because
there is no other alternative. Version 1.1a9 still "freeze" the video after a few
hours and it needs to connect to a " configurationf ile" thats somewhere
on a server in new zealand.
So why needs a de-central multiconferencing plattform a registration server ?
When this server is down nobody can use vchat it will not even connect to your own reflector. The list that you can import is so out of date and the autor is no interested in adding new reflectors to the list or promote any reflectors.

I am going to revert back to older version. The program takes 1 min to start and every time it requires you set the compression and FPS rate, and it crashes 30% of the time. It appears there is a bug. I have a macbook pro. Hopefully they fix soon

It launched at least once for me but hasn't since then. Every launch is a crash. I have tried trashing the prefs (.plist) file.
This is is Tiger, 10.4.3.

I am using a iBook 12" screen when i first started it up, the top of the bar for the setupscreen where you show the reflectors went right up in to the top under the menu bar. I had to hide the application then bring it back to get the top of the window to be in the correct place so i could move it around. I would have emailed this problem but could not find an email address on the web site.

I have received a few reports of people with dual G5's crashing after they have upgraded to Tiger.
If you are experiencing this problem then please email vchat@cu-seeme.org with a relevant CrashReporter trace attached. I am unable to reproduce this problem and VChat works fine under Tiger on the 2xG4 used for development.

It crashes every 5 minutes. If I connet to a reflector it's just full of wankers trying to get cybersex, but this is not fault of vchat but of people connecting to cuseeme networks.
Not a bad application, but actually Ivisit is my number one for multiple videoconference.
