Good features -- Poor implementation

There are also quite a few comments about the steep learning curve. Certainly with any complex application you'll have to learn something, but I'm convinced that a lot of it has to do with how non-userfriendly it is.
I don't think Creative Manager Pro is a BAD product, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired. A MAJOR drawback is how poorly the interface is designed.
It has a good set of features, but getting at those features is such a laborious and disconnected process. It's software that's supposed to improve productivity, laid out in an astoundingly counter-productive manner. It doesn't look like they consulted anyone familiar with designing an intuitive application. It's called Creative Manager Pro, it's supposed to be specifically aimed at design and ad agencies. Why not take a few tips from the so-called "Creative types?"

foursquare--2008We have been using Creative Manager Pro for a few months now. We actully jsut recently implememnted into the everyday workflow as it does require some time to customize, but that is what makes it so great. When you implememnt a solution like Creative Manager it is your custom solution. And, if there is something you would like to see added just ask. The support, while many turn their nose at e-mail support, is amazing. In a time when most compoanies send you overseas to talk to someone you can't understand giving you advice using a manual dealing with Creative Manager is a blessing. They respond to your e-mails usually within the hour and are very knowledgable. That is because you are talking directly with the people who created this wonderful software.
Training was adequate as it was done over the phone but we still have not even used up all of our alloted hours. But, like any software solution you learn by doing and asking questions. I have sent dozens of emails a day during the setup process asking for advice, new features, support and even recommendations. They are always kind and responsive and almost all recommendations or requests have already been implemented.
While researching different solutions it was important to us to find a company willing to work with us as we knew the company behind the software was just as important the the solution itself. Thus far we have not been dissapointed with Creative Manager. I would recommend them to anyone.
