Product Description:

Registry is a digital checkbook register. There are several special features that make Registry different than most other simple financial database programs, though. First, Registry has Direct Entry Editing, where many others use a separate window or section to actually edit the information. Next, Registry has Text File Importing so that you can import files from other sources, such as from other applications or downloaded from an online bank, which now includes QIF files. Also, Registry has Text Auto-Completion for name and descriptions that are repeated often.

What's new in this version:

Fixed registration error.

I've only used it for a few minutes and noticed one annoying non-feature. You can create a new record using the keyboard, but to edit the entry requires the mouse to double click a field to open it. It would be nice if you could just press <return> to open the highlighted record for editing. Perhaps that feature can be incorporated into the next update. It would make the program much more usable.

This program is simple, you just create a new entry and fill in the information. It keeps track of how much you have left. I have seen other programs that do more, but they are usually more confusing too. Good job.

Registry Developer NoteRegistry seems to work in 10.1 - Version: 1.0.0, 8/4/2003 01:51PM PST

After a cursory investigation, Registry 1.0 seems to work in Mac OS X 10.1. I have not tested it fully, but the basic functions work properly. I'll have the version requirements reflect this.
