CamGrabber Reviewworks with Blackmagic SDI card - Version: 20030801, 9/16/2003 07:45AM PST

I was looking for a down and dirty frame grab function for my Blackmagic SDI pci card, and this works perfectly. My only wish is that I could grab at full NTSC resolution- maybe even have a menu with a variety of selectable resolutions. To dream, if it also de-muxed the audio stream while viewing the video...I would definitely pay for this.

CamGrabber ReviewJust got the new version (20030801)... - Version: 20030728, 8/1/2003 11:17PM PST

...And the author implemented all the features (and more !) I asked him to add to this program in less than 12 hours. Now, that program is perfect for me (but still lacks the choice of the video input, the guy just under my review won't be glad to hear that) and the guy who is making this software is really quick to reply my email and to update his program after he got some suggestions ! :-)
Hugely recommended since it works flawlessly, no freezes for a week, I'm using it on my iBook and my iSight and it's a great piece of soft.

And, it's FREE. Isn't that nice ? ;-)

CamGrabber ReviewWrong video input - Version: 20030728, 7/29/2003 01:04PM PST

Since I have to video devices via firewire this don't work for me. It shows the TV screen of my Formac Studio and not the picture of my connected iSight. I need to select the video source.
