webSafeName Commentaryserious bugs w lowercase option - adds a 1 to filenames - Version: 1.0.1, 9/8/2003 11:43AM PST

pdX
When dragging all capped files to the (lowercased) icon, my series of files named

BIO_BUSH.SWF, RECALL_FORM.HTML, etc. became
bio_bush1.swf, recall_form1.html, etc. (in other words, it adds a 1 to the file)

In addition, when dragging a folder called SUBSTANCE_ABUSE containing a folder called BUSH_COCAINE_USE which itself contains a subfolder called CONVICTIONS plus files (all of which I intended to lowercase), I got an error message from websafename:

File HD:Sites:George_Bush:SUBSTANCE_ABUSE1:bush_cocaine_use1:CONVICTIONS wasn't found.

Well, that is true because websafename already changed CONVICTIONS to convictions1.
