I have struggled with this application for several months now with my Sony Ericsson M600i. It is sometimes possible to synchronize, as long as only one function (e.g., calendar) is selected at a time and you are prepared to reboot both the computer and phone several times in the process. The issues usually relate to difficulty in establishing or maintaining a connection but I have had repeated crashes at various times. I have found that the program seems to work more reliably if you initiate synchronization from the phone rather than the computer. Technical support have been friendly and responded quickly but basically have been of little assistance. The much promoted proximity synching is just farcical – it is an achievement to get anything to synchronize, even once. Based on my experience, if you are looking for the hassle free synchronization of iSync, a phone that relies on the Missing Sync for Symbian should not be on your shopping list. If you have no other option and are really desperate, you may be willing to live with the unreliable synchronization, wasted time and constant frustration. It is interesting the the program remains at version 1.0, a full 9 months after it was released. I can only assume that making it work reliably is not a high priority.
Not to be compared with Palm version - Version: 1.0, 2/2/2009 10:25PM PST

Finally I couldn't wait any longer for the next Palm, and as my provider doesn't sell iPhones, I had to go for Nokia. What a huge step back. Of course I purchased a license for Missing Sync again because it's such a brilliant addition for the Palm.
But you cannot compare the versions, except for the user interface. The Symbian version is missing important features - like USB support and profiles -, in the first go it caused havoc in my calendar (I had a backup), and most important: it's unstable and has to be reinstalled from time to time.
So I'll return to the native syncing until there's a substantial version upgrade.

For a product that expensive i was hoping for a better support and more frequent updates... so just 2 stars from me...
At least the developers should let us know if they are still working on this or if they have abandoned it completely.
