MagniComp's SysInfo provides Unix/Linux/Mac System Administrators with extremely detailed, platform independent hardware, software, and OS configuration data for most major Unix/Linux/Mac platforms. SysInfo TM enables System Administrators to quickly see a high level view of a system's configuration or dive deeply into very low level configuration data. You can see something as "simple" as a system's model name or you can plunge down to detailed information on disk drives to view a drive's serial number and RPM speed.

This product has proven itself for years on every platform you can imagine.

As stated, its mainly for ADMINISTRATORS AND IT PROFESSIONALS, for end users, single machines it won’t mean too much unless you are a complete geek ;)

Just like any other product, if you aren’t in intended audience, don’t send flamebait comments making yourself look funny.

Downloaded this software, and got a 9.1 MB ".sh" file, which wouldn't unstuff. Browsed the dev's mildly chaotic website for info about this product and learned, "SysInfoTM supports both a sophisticated Command Line Interface (CLI) for consumption by both humans and programs". Consumption...? Anyway, it appears a user must use the command line just to install this thing. Oi vey. Their site won't even divulge the price unless you create a free account and log in. No thanks, I get enough spam
