Product Description:

Sendmail Enabler is an application which allows you to configure sendmail in OS X with just one click. It also installs a POP3 server, which could allow you to run a fully-functioning mail server in minutes - if you've got the router, dns, firewall, port mapping, and all the rest of the stuff correct, of course ;-).

What's new in this version:

Added support for sendmail's Masquerade feature. Also, it now takes a look at sendmail's queues before it starts up sendmail. If necessary, it will create the queues and set their permissions correctly.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.2 or higher
  • Does not work on Mac OS X Server

Sendmail Enabler Troubleshooting ReportWhere's the author gone? What version of popper? - Version: 1.1.3, 11/14/2003 02:14PM PST

This is a nice app. A little funky on the UI side - you have to read the instructions carefully. It does what it says and it does it well.

Neither the "company" nor "developer info" urls work, which worries me. I need to contact the author about the version of popper installed.

I am getting various attacks on my POP3 server (popper) and I need to know what version was installed by Sendmail Enabler so I can make sure I am current. Of course I could just build and install Qpopper from scrarch, but that defeats the purpose of Sendmail Enabler somewhat.
