Product Description:

YemuZip is an easy-to-use application for making zip files.

Unlike the Finder's built-in archive or compress function, YemuZip lets you choose between a Mac-specific format (resource fork-preserving) and a PC-compatible format (with resource forks removed).

Key advantages of YemuZip are:

option to include or exclude resource forks (i.e. Mac or PC)
zip directly to a new mail attachment (very convenient!)
customizable destination paths
did we mention it's easy to use?

What's new in this version:

This version no longer requires Rosetta on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Target folder is now correctly created if necessary.

A lifesaver app - Version: 2.3, 11/15/2009 07:38PM PST

As a Mac user I like things simple - apps should work without fuss or bother, and do just what the author says they will do.

And that is just what this app does - simple, easy to use, and effective - I had no problem sending them the $5, just to say thanks.

I had been using another zip app and my files were not readable by my teacher - downloaded YemuZip and re compressed them, and bingo - every file was just as I wrote it

So thanks guys, and thanks for making it free - this week I could afford the $5 and so sent it, but at other times and for other people like me (pensioner student) sometimes we cant mange it

Great app. Easy to use, however....

Developer(s), please note: I reeeally don't want to see ads on this application once it's been paid for. YemuZip clearly states: "the Pro edition lets you turn off the advertising message", but after paying for this app, I still get ads trying to get me to buy FileChute. Showing ads still is only going to have the opposite of the intended effect and annoy paid users of your software.

I have just started using YemuZip, and it works brilliantly. But, I'd like to take a moment to commend Yellow Mug and their many wonderful products. Their bundle rocks! I find myself using FileChute almost daily to easily send larger files from my server to my clients. It works flawlessly. EasyFrame is another great product. Anyway, the list goes on... Yellow Mug has some great products. AND, the support is excellent.
