That is in one word all I have to say for this fine piece of "choc-colored chunk". It has SUCH potential that it should be a crime to hire the developers working on it now. After I submitted my bug report I had to guide them by the hand to finally see it. Only to see that they didn't forget to ask for money from me after the trial but never fixed the issue I reported. Stay away from them!

Grokker seems to be beset by some of the most malicious and uninformed reviews I have seen on Versiontracker.
Most importantly, what this application does - organize search results into categorized graphs - is unbelievably useful if your work depends upon heavy search engine use. My recommendation: pay no attention to the naysayers and give Grokker a shot - you might find you like it.
- Yes, this is a Java app.
- No, it has not been fully "Cocoaized", so that look and feel (including the install process) are not particularly Mac-like.
- However, the interface is perfectly clean, clear and functional.

Still don't know how to write Mac software

These people still don't know how to write Mac software. First of all, they now call this "myGrokker", with a new icon so you can't recognize it from the last version. When you go to install it, you don't get to upgrade your old install, even if you install the new version to the same directory. When you do install, you get a Grokker icon (what happened to the name "myGrokker" now?) and a bunch of junk dumped in the same directory that you installed to. Hey, guys, you know that "Grokker.app" thing? It's actually a directory. Dump your junk UNDER it, like every other Mac app. Mind you, the support girl insisted on calling the menu bar a "toolbar" and couldn't figure out why I couldn't see an option on the toolbar... so you can see how much they know about Macs. Still disappointed. Could be a good app.
