Product Description:

This is first preview release of the Cocoa version of Carracho Client. It enables users to connect to existing servers of the popular Carracho BBS System to exchange files and chat with other Carracho users.

Please note that this is not the final version and still in development.

What's new in this version:

  • Added Admin modules Server Info and Advanced (not all advanced functions are available)
  • Fixed a bug that could a cause a crash during search queries
  • Added support for displaying user icons in chat transcripts (icons are not saved in chat logs yet)
  • Added user and file inspectors and server info button ("i" button in tasks strip)
  • Create Folder button added to Files module
  • Admins can click option-trash to clear Flat News
  • Fixed a bug where downloads that are put in the server side queued aborted with an error
  • Chat transcripts can be saved automatically now (when enabled, chat logs are saved to ~/Documents/Carracho Chats every 30 secs)
  • Drag location when dragging a file to a file browser is highlighted more accurately now
  • Added a mute button to mute all sound effects
  • The banner can be replaced by dragging a banner image on the server banner in the main window
  • Option click on a server in the tracker window allows you to enter login information for the server before connecting to it
  • Added "Add server to bookmarks" menu item
  • Clicking in chat transcript pane stops incoming chat from scrolling
  • Added more support for contextual menus
  • Fixed a bug where clicking on an email address in a chat transcript opened the default web browser instead of the mail application
  • File paths are displayed in search results now (contextual menu item opens source folder)
  • Fixed several random crash bugs
  • Assorted UI and bug fixes

You cannot create a new chat with a password in this version. Carracho carbon is still better, and this is weird.
